lawd, i don't wanna work..

..i just really wanna get the heckola outta dodge and go on home.. sit by the pool.. wait for Mister Man to come home..

i have to thank my good girl friend for making me feel this way.. you see, i did something today i haven't done in about 16 trillion years: i went to lunch with someone!

we had meant to go last week, but stoooopid work prevented it, so we switched plans and today met at a cool little sushi bar.. and we had some good sushi, and even better conversation..

we talked about a lot of things (and if you are reading, dear friend, you know some of the subjects were a bit out there), and i gotta tell you: it is soooo cool to talk to a friend, and know that you are free to say what's on your mind, and not fear judgement or reprisal.. (regular readers know i'm a tad on the naughty side, so at times my conversations may lean to the R or even NC-17 [NC-35?] side!!)

thank you, friend.. you really made my day today.. if only you could make it be 530pm now so i could go home!!
